Right-Sizing the Space

For this range we use the air-conditioned heritage hall, or we set the function on a portion of the lawn rather than the whole of it. Both keep 200 people looking like a full room instead of a thin crowd. Nobody mentions this while you are booking, and it is the most common reason a good function photographs badly.

If the sangeet and the wedding fall on consecutive days, the hall and the lawn can carry one each without a full reset in between.

Sound, Lighting and Power

A sangeet is the loudest and most equipment-heavy function most families will host: DJ, dance floor lighting, sometimes a live performer. Two generators cover the full event including lighting and sound, so a power cut does not end the evening.

The lawn absorbs sound better than an enclosed room, which matters if older relatives want to sit and talk while the dancing runs.

Haldi and Daytime Functions

Haldi is a daytime function and usually a messy one. The lawn takes it without anyone worrying about a floor, and the mature trees on the compound throw shade across a good part of the grass through the afternoon.

Three guest rooms on site give the couple and the bridal party somewhere to change and clean up between a haldi and an evening function.

The Spaces
